Cardamom Rose Ice Cream

Equipment

  • High Powered Blender Vitamix or Blendtec prefered

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz cashew cream 90 gm - see cashew cream recipe
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup / honey / agave / coconut sugar
  • 1 T rose water
  • 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1/4 tsp beet powder
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/8 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • 3 cup ice crushed

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to the blender in the order listed.
  • Blend on high and use the spatula to help process. Be careful NOT to go too close to the blades as it will blend the spatula as well.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. Don't over blend as it will get soft.
  • You may add the mixture to an ice cream maker for about 15 minutes if you would like it to firm up a bit.
  • May be stored in the freezer if not consumed immediately. FYI: It may need additional time to thaw if you go this route. Leave on the counter for about 15 minutes and it should be soft enough to scoop. ENJOY!!
