Equipment

  • medium mixing bowl
  • scissors
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c garbanzo beans / chickpeas; cooked drained (15 oz can)
  • 1 nori sheet chop finely with scissors
  • 1/4 c vegan mayonaise
  • 1/4 c onion; red chop fine, is about half a small onion
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 T pickle relish
  • 10 capers finely chopped
  • 12 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 T nutritional yeast
  • 1 T tamari sauce
  • 1/2 T dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar; white
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper ground

Instructions

  • Using a medium mixing bowl, add the chickpeas and mash with a fork.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Taste test and add more salt & pepper if desired.
