Equipment

  • large saucepan
  • silicone spatula
  • 32 oz mason jar or pitcher

Ingredients

  • 2 c purified water; cold
  • 1 c strawberries; fresh or frozen
  • 1 c blueberries; fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 c real maple syrup
  • 2 Tbs sweet leaf stevia drops
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a medium sauce pan and add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes and the liquid is reduced.
  • Adjust to medium heat and continue stirring
  • Remove from the heat and strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer into a jar.
  • Let cool before making mocktails or pouring over ice cream.
  • Stores in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for about a week, or may be frozen for up to 3 months.
