Gluten Free Flour Blend

Equipment

  • Vitamix or Blendtec

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c brown rice flour finely ground brown rice
  • 1/2 c potato starch
  • 1/4 c white rice flour finely ground brown rice
  • 1/4 c tapioca starch
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum optional - assists with binding

Instructions

  • Add the brown and white rice to the high powered blender and run on high, or the "grind flour" setting. Run until it tuns into a finely ground flour.
  • Add the other ingredients to the blender and pulse a few times to incorporate.
  • Store in a container with a lid.

Notes

May be used 1:1 for all purpose or whole wheat flour.  If you wish to bind more like a glutenous flour, be sure to add the xanthan gum.  ENJOY!!
