Homemade Vinaigrette Dressing

- 1/2 c extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 T vinegar of choice balsamic, red wine, white wine, or apple cider
- 1 T Dijon mustard
- 1 RT real maple syrup
- 2 med garlic pressed/minced
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt fine
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Take a liquid measuring cup or bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well with a small whisk or a fork until the ingredients are completely mixed together.
Taste, and adjust as necessary. If the mixture is too acidic, thin it out with a bit more olive oil or balance the flavors with a little more maple syrup. If the mixture could use more flaver, add another pinch or two of salt. If it doesn’t have enough zing, add more vinegar by the teaspoon.
Serve immedietely or store in a covered jar in the fridge. If it solidifies, simply allow to rest at room temperature for about 10 mins or you may microwave for about 15-20 seconds. Whisk and serve. ENJOY!!
