Ingredients

lentils; brown or green
3
cup
purified water
1/2
tsp
Himalayan sea salt
Instructions
Boil the water in a medium pot over high heat.
Add lentils to a colander and sift through to remove any debris.
Rinse well under cold water, and then add to the boiling pot of water.
Set timer for 10 minutes and keep checking every couple of minutes, as not to over cook them.
Strain and add back to the pot to add in any other spices as you see fit.
Add 1 Tbs of olive oil for more flavor and to prevent sticking.
