Equipment

Ingredients

Step 1 - brew

  • 32 oz purified water; cold
  • 1/2 cup hibiscus; dried flowers

Step 2 - sweeten

  • 1 can apple juice concentrate frozen

Step 4 - build mocktail

  • 1 wine glasses
  • 1/2 cup ice about 6 cubes
  • 1/2 cup hibiscus cooler concentrate from step 1 & 2
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • 1 pinch hibiscus; dried flowers for garnish

Instructions

Step 1 - boil and steep

  • Bring water to a boil and add the dried hibiscus to the pot. Turn down to medium heat, add a lid and steep for 15 minutes.

Step 2 - strain

  • Strain the liquid into a large pitcher and discard of the hibiscus (or find another way to repurpose! Some are making mock meats from these.).

Step 3 - sweeten

  • Add the apple juice concentrate to the pitcher. Alternatively, you can substitute with 1/2 C coconut sugar or 1/2 C pure maple syrup.
  • Allow to cool before making mocktail or putting a lid on to store.

Step 4 - build an individual mocktail

  • Add ingredients to a wine glass in the order listed.
