Avocado Toast

Equipment

  • chef knife
  • cutting board
  • small mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 slice GF bread or other high quality bread
  • 1/4 single avocado ripe
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS

  • 2 single OG cherry, sugar or grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 single green onions
  • 1/4 single jalapeño
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 pinch micro greens optional
  • 1/2 Tbs pine nuts optional
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil drizzle; optional

Instructions

  • Toast the bread.
  • Remove the pit from the avocado and use a big spoon to scoop out the insides into a small mixing bowl.
  • Using a fork, mash the avocado until it is a nice texture. Add in spices and mix well.
  • Spread the avocado mixture on top of the toast and add any of the optional toppings as you see fit. ENJOY!!
