Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice
- 2 cups purified water; cold
- 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Add the rice to a strainer or colander and rinse well.
- In a large pot, add the rinsed rice, water, and olive oil and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the lid and reduce heat to low, simmering for 40 mins.
- Remove from heat with the lid on, allowing the rice to finish steaming and setting up.
- Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
