Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Equipment

  • High Powered Blender Vitamix or Blendtec twister prefered

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs caramel syrup see recipe
  • 1 cup pecans crumbled

Instructions

  • Add the STEP 1 ingredients to the blender in the order listed.
  • Blend on high and use the spatula to help process. Be careful NOT to go too close to the blades as it will blend the spatula as well.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • STEP 2
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker for about 15 minutes, until it starts to get really firm but is still moving in the machine.
  • Sprinkle in the crumbed pecans, and drizzle in the caramel syrup while the ice cream maker is still running.
  • Turn machine off and remove ice cream from the canister and either serve immediately or place in a container and put in the freezer until ready to serve.
  • If pulling from the freezer you may need to allow 5-10 minutes for the ice cream to thaw enough to serve. ENJOY!!
